FAQ for Hosts

What are blog tours?

A blog tour is when a book is promoted across different websites and blogs over a set amount of time –  each day premiering on a different website(s) or blog(s). During the tour, readers can find posts that have reviews, interviews, playlists, favorite quotes and other fun stuff.

How do I become a host?

Please fill out our Tour Master List Sign Up form to become a TBR and Beyond Tours host. Signing up for the MasterList does not guarantee you a spot on a specific tour and you will have to sign up separately for each tour that you are interested in.

How do I sign up for the tours?

Every blog tour will have a sign-up form, you will need to sign up individually for each tour you are interested in. If you filled out the form for our Tour Master List, you will be emailed every available tour with a link to the form. Otherwise, you can find all of our open tours and their sign up forms on our Upcoming Tours page.

What is expected of me?

We have some requirements to be a part of the TBR and Beyond Tours team. You can find these requirements in the Host Guidelines.

Do I get a physical or digital copy?

Physical copies aren’t always guaranteed and can be hard/costly to get to international readers. That is why one of our requirements is that you have a NetGalley and Edelweiss account, because the majority of the review copies will most likely be digital.

What happens if I don’t post?

We understand that life can get in the way or things can happen that prevent you from posting. We ask that if you can’t post, you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If you don’t post and don’t contact us, you’ll lose the opportunity to participate in future tours.

What if I don’t like the book or my rating is below 3 stars?

We completely value honest reviews here. We know that everyone isn’t going to love every book they read and that is fine.  If you are reviewing and realize the book will fall below a 3 star rating, we ask that you contact us. We will provide a promotional or creative post instead. Please wait until after the tour has ended to post your review if your rating is less than 3 stars.
